All about Stegosaurus Skull Key Chain
Stegosaurus lived 150 million years ago during the Jurassic period. When fossil hunters discovered stegosaurus over 100 years ago, it gave birth to a global fascination with dinosaurs. It was named “roofed lizard” as some thought its plates lay flat. Paleontologists now know that its diamond-shaped plates were used for display and arranged in two staggered rows along its neck, back and tail.
Stegosaurus was 30-feet long with a massive botdy, but a small skull. As a herbivore, it had flat teeth and a head low to the ground, ideal for browsing plants. Stegosaurus remains loved today as one of the most iconic and remarkable dinosaurs.
